Broken Jaw Press is a self-distributing independent Canadian publisher based in Fredericton, in the wild western Maritimes. We have been publishing books, chapbooks, zines and other mostly literary items since 1985. Please do not believe anyone else’s information concerning out viability and/or title availability.

Canadian book sales and shipping subject to GST (except for HST on non-books and shipping to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland Labrador, and New Brunswick customers).

All non-Canadian trade and all individual orders/sales must be prepaid (bank draft, money order, certified cheque, Western Union transfer, or MoneyGram—no personal cheques, no cash in mail, please. Direct credit card and/or Paypal payment not presently available. Please use our online order form to email us your query for the total purchase and shipping value of your order.

Canadian returns permission required. Maximum returns of 25% from trade accounts only for returns of books sold on BJP invoices. Broken Jaw Press will process customer returns, inspect and receive back into inventory all material that can be re-used, provided the returns are: a) in saleable condition; and b) sent to Broken Jaw no less than 90 days after being invoiced; and c) made available for re-sale after being processed back into stock no more than 365 days after being invoiced. Early returns are permissible for event stock. Returns must be sent prepaid by the customer. NO NON-CANADIAN or INTERNATIONAL RETURNS.
