afterimage / naknadna slika is a selection of five poems—some new, some previously published—in English alongside parallel translation into Serbian, a sampler to present some of his writings to Canadian Studies people and the general public in Serbia.
Joe Blades is a poet and artist living in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The publisher of Broken Jaw Press, Inc., he is also on the editorial board of ellipse magazine. Blades is editor of nine books and chapbooks including some stuff about canadian spoken word & indie publishing (NCRA, 2004), curator of Videopoems: a Screening for the Tidal Wave Film Festival 2003, and author of over a score of chapbooks and artist books. His four full-length poetry collections include River Suite (Toronto: Insomniac Press, 1998), and Casemate Poems (Waterloo, ON: Widows & Orphans, 2004).
